What Is Unemployment Insurance?

What Is Unemployment Insurance?Unemployment is one of the most stressful situations that you can appear in, when it seems you can never get your life back on track.

But  it is not only a physiological but also a financial distress. Nowadays unemployment has become quite a common epidemic in many countries because of the economic instability worldwide. Many governments try to relieve the financial difficulties of their citizens.

For example the US Federal-State Unemployment Insurance Program administrated by the government provides unemployment insurance benefits according to the State law to those eligible individuals that have lost work through no fault of their own and meet all the necessary law requirements. The amount of financial support and its duration are determined by state law.

Unemployment insurance is temporary financial assistance for discharged workers. Who may be eligible for the unemployment insurance?

If, for example, you are dismissed because of the economic downturn and not from your personal will or conduct, then you become eligible for the insurance benefits. But sometimes an employee may quit willingly but still get the insurance. This happens when, for example, the employee was forced to commit an illegal act or any other immoral act. All these factors are taken into account while determining the eligibility and granting  the insurance benefits.

If you are not eligible then you may look through some insurance online quote options and find the plan that may fit your personal and budgetary needs.
